Copes Rubbish Removal President William Dunbar will be presented the 2009 Alexander Alves award on May 6th, 2009, during a dinner at the Watertown Golf Club. This is the fifteenth year that the award has been given for significant contribution to the Watertown-Oakville community.

Copes Rubbish Removal sponsored youth sports teams are taking to the field this Spring in Watertown/Oakville, Woodbury, Bethlehem and Middlebury.
Copes Rubbish to be Honored by Gold Circle
Copes Rubbish Removal will be honored by the Water-Oak Gold Circle of Sports on April 27th at the Grand Oak Villa in Oakville. Copes President Bill Dunbar will accept the Community Service award on behalf of the company.
3rd Annual Trash Can Open
What started three years ago as a group golf outing has evolved into the Copes Trash Can Open. On May 11th, 2009, 64 golfers travelled to the Lake of Isles golf course at the Foxwoods Resort & Casino for a day of golf, lunch and gaming. The event raised over $3,000 for the Watertown Foundation, a community foundation dedicated to the Watertown/Oakville community.
